![]() BMI doesn't really tell you that much as it doesn't take into account your build. To answer your question, it depends on your fat percentage. I'm going to assume you're male, since males usually have more belly fat. I don't even know if you're male or female and not going to dig through your history. Is it possible that I have to go all the way to being underweight(as defined by BMI standards) if I want to lose all noticeable belly fat? Is it mandatory for me to incorporate some form of exercise if I want to lose the last bits of fat in my stomach? Even though my BMI is now in the "normal" category I realize that I still have some ways to go since I still have a good amount of belly fat left. Now, I'm in the low 150s and my BMI is 24. Last September, I was near 200 pounds with a BMI of over 31.
